Cultural Heritage Workshops

Explore the heritage of Southwestern Pennsylvania as well as your own during the Rivers of Steel Cultural Heritage Workshops. Take classes such as Telling Your Story: Oral Histories Step-by-Step or Pittsburgh's Food Treasures, among others. Workshops begin Saturday, September 10.  Each two-hour workshop includes light refreshments. Bring a friend or family member and make a morning of it! Telling Your Story: Oral Histories Step-by-Step

Oral histories are stories told by living people about the past.  Grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, all have valuable information to share about their family’s history.
