Photographic, Publication and Audio/Visual Services Reproduction Rates

Note: All rates subject to change

For all publishers, one complementary copy of a completed publication must be given to Rivers of Steel. The credit line should read, "Courtesy of Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area." Additional credit for specific collection material may be required.

Audio/Visual Materials

$150.00 per minute or portion of minute for audio or visual images used in final product for single primary use. All rights reserved for second and subsequent uses.

Video and Filming Fees

$1,000 per day or portion of day for access to collections by television or film cameras or recording devices, including interviews. One complementary copy of completed video or film must be given to Rivers of Steel. The credit line should read, "Courtesy of Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area." Additional credit for specific collection material may be required.

Shipping and Handling

First Class US Postal Service costs vary with the size and weight of order.

Photographic Services

Conditions of Reproduction

• Reprints are produced by a photographer approved by the Archives.
• The user assumes responsibility for all laboratory costs, including reprinting, production of a negative when necessary, taxes, and shipping. New negatives become the property of the Archives. Negatives are not available for loan or purchase.
• The Archives reserve the right to deny reproduction of any material(s) that could be physically damaged in the reproduction process.

Copyright

Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area retains all rights to reproductions of photographs including the right to grant others permission to reproduce the photographs. Additional copies must be purchased from Rivers of Steel.

Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area reserves the right to limit the number of photographic copies; to refuse any reproduction request that it believes would involve violation of U.S. copyright law; and to restrict the use of reproduction of rare or valuable material involving unusual difficulty in copying and/or to chargea higher fee than specified.
